CANDICE AND COLIN'S PERFECT DAY

As a couple Colin and I are very chilled!

We don't like being the centre of attention and we NEVER organise big events like birthday parties at venues etc.

So when we decided to tie the knot and realised we would have to plan every detail, we decided that we had bitten off

more than we both could chew and that we would need to find a venue that could provide and cater for all our needs.

Before I even met Colin i was on holiday with Family in Port Edward, and we happened to be on the river as a wedding ceremony was taking place... The Bride arrived by boat and she looked BEAUTIFUL the whole set up was breathtaking, and I decided there and then that when I get married one day, I was going to get married at Umtamvuna River Lodge.

I told this story to Colin and he thought it was a great idea to get married outside and be casual, so we phoned and made an appointment to see Nicole.

On meeting Nicole and the Umtamvuna team we felt completely relaxed and confident with our decision to have our wedding at this venue.

Nicole and the team really listened to what we wanted and they accommodated us with every request that we asked for.

Nicole was very hands on with the co-ordination making sure that we had the right flowers, and that our chili napkins rings were made to our specifications, she paid such attention to detail that I could completely relax with organising the other fun parts of the wedding like the dresses, hair, makeup, invitations etc.

Our day arrived and we were so blessed with the weather. Our wedding was PERFECT!!! The food was out of this world, the service for the guests was top class, I couldn't fault Nicole and her team if I tried.

I would recommend this venue to ALL couples looking for an Alternative wedding venue.

I had the wedding of my dreams and so did my husband, all costs in cured were WELL WORTH IT!
